Electric Time Company supplied 30″ (80cm) diameter, backlit, analog barometric pressure, temperature, wind speed and time displays to the world renowned Aspen and Snowmass Resorts in Colorado USA.
The real time displays are located at the base of the Silver Queen and Village Express ski lifts and display to the skiers the weather conditions on the summit of the respective peaks.
Weather condition data is captured by sensors mounted on utility buildings on the mountain peaks and then sent to the displays by the resort’s Ethernet local area network.
