Clocks, clocks and more clocks! As 2010 winds down we thought about all of the tower clocks manufactured at Electric Time Company this year. One project in particular stood out – The Village at Breckenridge in Colorado.
Designed with the architects at O’Bryan Partnership of Frisco, CO, Electric Time Company manufactured four 11’ diameter canister clocks. The clocks were specially designed to accommodate the front access only requirement. Due to their size, the clocks were driven to Colorado from our factory in Medfield, MA on a dedicated flatbed trailer with a special oversized load escort! The tower clocks were quickly and professionally installed by R.A. Nelson & Associates, the general contractor on the project.
The Village at Breckenridge is located at the base of Breckenridge Mountain. The iconic clock tower was added as part of a major facelift at the resort in 2010.
